The Trips (Trainees in Paediatric Surgery) website was launched in 2007 and hopes to be a resource for trainees in the United Kingdom. It is a site by, of and for the trainees. The aim is to bring all resources available to the trainee under one roof.
Training in the UK
There are seventeen centres of training in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Centres are clubbed to form consortia, labelled in similar colours. Supraregional services have been designated in England and Wales for the management of biliary atresia (Birmingham, Leeds, and London) and bladder exstrophy (Manchester and London).
