SIU World Pediatric Uro-Oncology Update 2008

SIU World Pediatric Uro-Oncology Update November 21-22, 2008 Santiago, Chile The Société Internationale d'Urologie is pleased to announce that its World Uro-Oncology Update, to take place November 19-22, 2008 in Santiago, Chile, will incorporate a special two-day programme for pediatric urologists and pediatric oncologists.
Chaired by Drs. Ricardo Zubieta and Philip Ransley, the Pediatric Update Committee has prepared a state-of-the-art programme highlighting the latest developments in the management of genitourinary cancers in children, worldwide.
A special registration rate ($200 US for SIU members; $250 US for non-members) is offered for those wishing to attend the 2-day pediatric programme, which includes the Friday night Chilean Folk Evening and Dinner.

On Friday, November 21, the focus will be on clinical cases in pediatric urology, with an emphasis on case variety, interactivity and international participation. To this end, co-moderators Drs. 14th International Paediatric Colorectal Club, York, UK
Dear Delegate,
I am pleased to inform you that the 14th International Paediatric Colorectal Club is being held in York, United Kingdom this year. The course will finish with plenty of time to catch a direct train up to Edinburgh for the 54th British Association of Paediatric Surgeons Annual Congress (17th -20th July).
Please find enclosed the preliminary programme. On the 14th July there is an interactive Paediatric Colorectal Surgical Training Course. For the meeting itself there are spaces for papers. Abstracts (no greater than 300 words) can be sent to me by e-mail (see attached form). The closing date for abstracts is 30th April 2007. Abstracts will be reviewed by the Publication Committee (see below) and myself. Application forms, details regarding cost and accommodation will be forwarded very soon, but please place these dates in your diary now.
Please note that Paediatric Surgery International is the official journal of the Colorectal Club Meeting and all the review articles as well as free papers will be considered for publication. The Publication Committee comprises Professor Alberto Pena, Professor Risto Rintala, Professor Tomas Wester and Professor Prem Puri.
