next Pan European Paediatric Urology Exam is to be
held on December the 2nd 2006. This is meant for
trainees in Paediatric Surgery, Paediatric Urology
and Adult Urology trainees interested in Paediatric
Urology and young Consultants in District General
Hospitals who are mainly Adult Urologists but are

Training the Trainers Conversion Module for Surgeons

is a new course and will be piloted on Tuesday 3
October at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
This course is specifically focused on surgical
training and how to teach and assess surgical
skills.
The course is aimed at HSTs and consultants who have already completed a generic Training the Trainers type course.
This one day module has been designed to provide a surgical focus to teaching and learning in surgical practice.
Previous training must have covered
• Principles of learning
• Structuring large and small teaching sessions
• Giving and receiving feedback
• Principles of assessment
• Participants must have already attended a two day Training the Trainers style course
