NEONATAL UPDATE 2010

As you are a past speaker at this meeting, I hope you might be interested in the draft programme for the Neonatal Update 2010.   You will see that Professor Neena Modi has once again planned an exciting and wide ranging programme.  The final afternoon will be a symposium on Neonatal Palliative and End-of-Life Care, planned by Alex Mancini, the Matron for neonates at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, with Neena.   This will be part of the Neonatal Update meeting, but also open to anyone who is only interested in this particular area.
 
Another innovation in 2010 is the Young Investigator Award.   This will give up to two outstanding young investigators the opportunity to present a 20 minute resumé of their research achievements at the meeting, and discuss the relevance of their past and future work to neonatal medicine.   The award will cover registration, return economy class travel and accommodation for up to 6 nights in London, to enable full attendance at the meeting.

To apply please submit the following by 5 pm GMT, 30th September, as an email attachment to Judy Gowing (j.gowing@imperial.ac.uk) marking your email subject heading “NEONATAL UPDATE 2010 YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD”:
1) your name, professional qualifications, year of birth, current appointment, previous appointments, current employing institution and email address
2) a summary of no more than 600 words, of your research achievements, and the relevance of your work to neonatal medicine
3) a list of your publications
4) a letter from your current Head of Department confirming your appointment and your ability to present your work to an international audience.
